As Co-Op program, CHUP is operated entirely by parent volunteers. Parents have a very active role in how CHUP functions and can choose to serve on the executive board and/or hold a classroom job. Additionally, each family has at least one adult family member who volunteers to work in the classroom along side the children 2-3 times a month. All adults in the classroom under go background checks, fingerprinting and complete health and safety training.
