Hi Moms & Dads, I've Been a Professional Mom for over 9 years now. I love what I do!!! My home is dedicated to your child having FUN and Learning as he/she comes to my home each day! We do Pre-School activities and have lots of fun indoor as well as out door play time! My back yard is fenced in with tons of toys for all aged children to play on. In the warmer months we walk to the Warren Fountain (with your permission) to play in the city fountain! On the other Hot days, we have fun in my back yard on a slip-n-slid or a sprinkler, or a toddler sprinkler mat for the babies! (can't forget the wee-ones) My Home is very open and I have a ton of room for the kids to burn off energy on the rainy days or during the winter months. I have activity centers for all age babies for as they grow. But personally, I prefer to hold them as much as I can! I'm not going to be having any more babies myself. So I DO enjoy the babies when a new family comes to my Daycare or an existing family has a new baby!!!! (smile, as any mommy should!) When they become more mobile I like to have a section of my living room closed off from the older kids, so the babies have their time to explore their new world and surroundings!) Every child has a pack-n-play (crib) that is dedicated to him/her while they are here at Jen's Bean Sprouts! Their sheets are changed daily - if needed, or at the end of the week and washed in a hot bleach wash. I like to make sure your child is as healthy as possible while they are in my care! The older children sleep on cots with sheets and blankets. So if your child has a special animal he/she likes to sleep with that's OK with me!!! I'm a MOM 1st!!! So if your child is hungry or thirsty he/she will get food or drink when he/she likes. I do NOT, believe a child should only eat 3 meals a day. So not to worry about how often your child ate here. So if all of this sounds good and you would like to meet me. Feel Free to Give me a call at: Jennifer Collins 586-872-5389

Hello, my name is Laurie and I have been running my home daycare for 16 years now. I love my job, working, playing and teaching little ones makes me feel very happy at the end of each day. I have stayed with my families from birth to Kindergarten. It is always bittersweet when they leave our home for school. But I also feel very proud to send them off ready to take on their next adventure! I am licensed with the state, Certified in CPR, First Aid and I do many hours of ongoing education in early childhood development each year. I have two teenage kids (16 years old & 18 years old) and they are also a big part of our day. (Truth be told, the kids squeal with excitement when my kids walk in after school each day!!) Call to see if my home is right for your child!

Teachers use the Creative Curriculum and Michigan Department of Education Standards to guide their observations, assessments and planning. Montessori Preschool & Kindergarten Maria Montessori s timeless philosophy guides children s learning in a nurturing environment. Children learn by manipulating materials, which develop meaningful practical skills and academic knowledge. Creativity, respect, reasonable behavior, self-discipline, and self-motivation are encouraged. Classes are multi-age. It is important to note that participation in this program does not guarantee future placement at Messmore Elementary School. Full Day Preschool Full Day Preschool is available (ages three to five years old) at three locations in the school district. Teachers plan activities and prepare an environment designed to gradually prepare young children for the more formal school years ahead. Our Full Day Preschool staff works closely with parents and their child to establish and maintain cooperative relationships. Prior to enrollment, visits are required in order to help the staffs and families get to know each other. While children attend, ongoing communication with parents continues. Teachers are qualified according to the State of Michigan standards. The Creative Curriculum is followed at all locations. Great Start Readiness Program The GSRP is Michigan s state-funded preschool program for children with factors which may place them at risk of educational failure. The program is administered by the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Great Start. Research on preschool programs and specific research on GSRP indicates that children provided with a high-quality preschool experience show significant positive developmental differences when compared to children from the same backgrounds who did not attend a high-quality preschool program. Hi parents! I am a 34-year-old mother, a college graduate, and former EMT for a well-known ambulance company in the area. I also am a licensed Firefighter with the state of Michigan! With extra emphasis put on safety, your child will learn what I learned about fire safety through age appropriate stories and drills. Your child will be Fire Chief for the week and lead our fire drills, and also learn about 911, strangers, what the police officers do and much more, mixed right into our reading and writing lessons! Your child will learn self-confidence, how to socialize with other children and be very excited to lead the fire drills in your own home! Also, our exercise time will keep your little one in tip-top shape. Well-balanced eating is promoted during our breakfast, snack, lunch and late snack time. If you're looking for a daycare with exciting lessons, games and projects to find your child's interest and talent, you've found the place! Reading, writing, art, games and puzzles are done daily, while slowly increasing the difficulty level to prepare them for preschool or kindergarten. My home is clean, organized, pet free, smoke free and welcoming. I absolutely love kids and would be honored to provide yours with a safe and loving environment while you work hard for them. Let me help prepare your child for their next adventure by allowing them to hike through their early years together with us at Carol's Kid Camp! Please contact me at your earliest convenience; I would love to discuss my daycare options with you! I will be receiving my state in-home daycare license soon and would like to save a spot for your little one in advance. My little hikers can begin arriving on July 15th!
