Ambra's Preschool - A Great Place For Your Child To Play And Learn, Now Open In Springfield .. Full-Time, 10 + Years of Child Care Experience Hello, my name is Ambra. I have been a resident of the Effingham community my whole life. I have always enjoyed working with children. At the age of 16, I began working for a home daycare, where I remained for one year. I immediately knew this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I went on to work at several day cares in the area and then began at Savannah Christian Prepartory School, where I remained for five years. While at Savannah Christian, I pursued a degree in early education from Savannah Technical College. I currently have over 240 college credit hours in early education and several daycare training certificates. In July 2004, I started a small preschool in my home for ages 2 and up! I am a licensed preschool teacher. I am currently working on National Accreditation, and hope to soon be the only accredited preschool in the county! At my preschool, your child will be exposed to daily learning activities that will help prepare your child for pre-K. Each month, I teach a theme based curriculum consisting of six topics (theme, letter, shape, number, color, and Bible lesson). If you are looking for a safe place to put your little one, look no further! I am always excepting applications for enrollment. Background check and references are on file and available! I charge $100/week per child. Available for nights and weekends. I am CPR and First Aid certified.
