Daycare home providing in home care from infant to after school care. I provide an atmosphere of love and education in my home. The children have play activities, reading activities, craft activities, age appropriate learning activities and one on one care. We work on social, fine motor cognitive and self help skills. By the time most of my children go to kindergarten they have learned their alphabet and consonant sounds and have started to read. They will have also learned age appropriate math and counting along with their colors and shapes. I have teaching certification in Early Childhood Education, BA in Sociology and a Minor in Child Psychology and Social Work. I taught school for over 30 years. I have also, been a social worker with Mecklenburg County. I have been a children's ministry coordinator in the nursery and preschool departments. I have a play yard with a new swing set and age appropriate toys. Our home offers an air scrubber which has been proven to destroy germs and bacteria in the atmosphere on contact providing less opportunity for sickness. I am certified with the state of North Carolina and am sponsored1 through Mecklenburg as well as Union Counties. I am a member of the NC Childcare Resources State Food Program and adhere to the regulations brought forth by them. We enjoy field trips and parents are welcome to join in on the fun. I love children and enjoy the rewards of being a part of their most formative years and seeing them grow and become well rounded for their promotion into kindergarten. Most children continue with me in the summer months and holidays participating in after school care (when slots are available). School teachers complement me on how well advanced the children are when they leave my care and enter their classroom. Over the years I have raised over 200 children. Children graduating from Precious Blessings Daycare have higher scores upon entering kindergarten and are well prepared for entering school. .

Nadeera's Family Daycare

7508 Albemarle Rd Charlotte, NC

As of October 2012 I have been licensed by the state of North Carolina to provide family daycare in my home. I am certified in CPR, First Aid and SIDS training. I have a lot of experience with children. I am a mother of 3, 2 girls who are 10 and 8 and one boy who is 6 years old. For 4 years I used to own and operate a NY State Family Daycare on Long Island until my family and I moved to Charlotte, NC in 2010. We are really enjoying living here in Charlotte and I am looking forward to growing a successful daycare business here. My program follows a creative curriculum which includes teaching a foreign language (Arabic letters, numbers, colors and shapes). I will have your preschooler prepared for kindergarten and your school age child will have help completing homework assignments. When your school age child is not in school they will still partake in educational activities during the day. Infants will be given activities to encourage motor skills, language and more. I also help with potty training and understand that the parent and I must work together so each child can become successful at it. I also give each child the love and affection and patience that they need each day. In the past I have been very successful in accomplishing these things with the children in my care and I will continue to do so here in Charlotte. My daycare is very clean and spacious inside and out. I offer 5 centers which include the art corner, reading corner, housekeeping, manipulatives and blocks. In the manipulatives corner I encourage daily completion of puzzles because they help with problem solving. Dramatic play in housekeeping is great for the imagination. I have a fenced in play area outside but beyond it is a huge back yard for running, racing and ball play. The food I serve follows the CACFP guidelines. Majority of the food I serve is all natural and/or organic. I serve milk (almond milk or dairy milk) at meals and water at snack time or when a child says they are thirsty. I rarely serve other drinks besides water and milk and on some occasions I may serve 100% juice. I currently offer 1st and 3rd shifts Monday - Friday. The 1st shift is 6am - 5:30pm. The 3rd shift is 11pm - 6am. I have an annual registration fee and I must get paid prior to the week of care each week. Please give me a call, I would love to meet you and your child and take you on a tour of my daycare.
