I am a 23-year-old mom of a 3-year-old little girl. I have 4 years of experience as a lead teacher for several age groups in some of the best day cares in the Metro-Atlantic area. I decided to stay home to try and keep my daughter healthy and away from germs. I have been running an in-home day care in my house for almost 6 months now. I currently keep one little boy 3 days a week and I am looking to keep 1 or 2 more children. I will only keep a total of 4 children. I will keep school-aged kids before and after school. I live in a neighborhood very close to Auburn Elementary. I'm CPR, First Aid, and fire safety certified. I have completed 10 hours in early childhood education training. I have a high school diploma and have completed some college. I have a squeaky clean background and a clean driver's license. I give out daily sheets at the end of every day. I have a wonderful curriculum. I love watching the children learn. (My daughter will be in Pre-K next year... so I have to get her ready too!) I know how they run and I try to run my home just like that only without all the germs and lower numbers for more attention and care. I have a big, open heart with an enormous love for kids. I am a very organized, clean person. I love to do arts and crafts and explore outside but most of all I love to teach and care for children. Not only will the children have free time to use their imagination and be kids, but we will also go outside and play and explore, we will sing and dance and do arts and crafts. I also do age appropriate lessons with the children including shapes, numbers, letters, colors, etc. I have a huge heart with an even bigger love of children.
