I have a Senegal Parrot and African Grey. They both love to be spoken to and get neck scritches. My Grey will only step up on your right hand, and my Sennie is partial to women. I feed them a breakfast of apples and eggs (Sennie) and grapes and eggs (Grey) no later than 7:30 a.m. and dinner of lightly heated Gerber Toddler meal, 1/2 tsp for my Sennie, a full tsp for my Grey with a pinch of mixed nuts on both their plates no later than 6 p.m. Their bedtimes are at 9 p.m. they get fresh water and seef and get covered at 9 p.m. with lights out. I am looking for a caregiver that understands parrots are neurotic little creatures of habit and enjoys working with birds.
