Care is provided by Carol Koenigsknecht, herbal practitioner, experienced caregiver, and professional writer.

Note from Carol: I have over 30 years experience as a pet sitter, and started my own official pet sitting business in Georgia in 2008. It was very successful, and my business partner and friend, Deniese Hutchins, took it over when I moved back to Michigan in 2015 to take care of my mother with dementia. Now that my mom has passed on, I am getting my pet sitting business going here in Lansing, Michigan...and I have missed it so much!

I offer completely professional pet sitting services, with a full range of options to fit every situation, from once a day visits to 24/7 care. I am also an herbal practitioner, and offer health consultations for pets and people, and sometimes make custom aromatherapy blends for both. I have taught natural healing classes at many different venues, including the University of Georgia. I write and publish articles about natural healing for pets and people, and some of my articles have appeared in Critter Magazine and various animal-related websites online.

I have loved and cared for animals all of my life, and have also been involved with many different rescue and shelter organizations through the years. I additionally have experience working in boarding and doggy daycare facilities, and I love working with a multitude of animals. I am especially good with the "special needs" animals; they just touch my heart in that extra special way!
