Animal Friend Looking For Work!

Hi! I am 24 years old and looking for a position in the Tacoma area. Animals have always been a part of my life and I love getting to spend time working (and playing!) with all kinds of animals. I have an affinity for cats and dogs as I've had the most personal experience with them, but have unconditional love for all animals and am open to working with any pet companion you may need care for :) I spent about five years working on and off as a nanny for a variety of families, which was great for me at that time, but eventually I realized that child care wasn't exactly my favorite field of work and it wasn't helping me to thrive anymore. However, I did have the opportunity to do a significant amount of house and pet sitting during my time as a nanny, and those are jobs that I felt a lot happier doing! I believe that all living beings deserve to be treated with kindness and love and would always care for your pets to the best of my ability to keep them safe, healthy and happy! I am available for overnight care / house sitting. I'm hoping to find 1-2 part time care jobs totaling about $400-$500 a month to supplement the part time job I currently have (Fri/Sat) in order to pay off student loans and other bills. I'm very flexible with my schedule and open to negotiating/figuring out an arrangement that works/is beneficial for everyone involved. If you are in need of pet care and think we may be a good match for each other, please feel free to message/ask me any questions you may have! I hope you have a wonderful day and am looking forward to meeting you (and your animals!).

Animal Lover Offering A Helping Hand

Avg response < 3 hrs
I am a wife, a mother and a grandmother who is blessed to be able to do what I love most, help people and love on animals. I have been around and loved animals throughout my entire life. I have had dogs, cats, hamsters, birds and fish as part of my family. As a fellow pet parent, I know how stressful it is to leave your pets in the care of others. For this reason, it is my goal to provide you and them with the level of care and attention that I would want and expect for my own. I am always available for them, they'll never want for attention and their needs will always be met. I can help with a one time or temporary need, as well as a regularly scheduled service. I provide progress reports, updates and pictures so you'll be without worry while you are away. You'll experience peace while your pet is safe, happy and well taken care of! **I have cared for dogs of just about every size, age, breed and temperament but I choose to work with and care for those who are non-aggressive.

We hired Denise to watch after our cat while we were out of town over the holidays and were very pleased with her care! She sent updates via message and photo daily to let me know how things were going and was always thorough with her experience for the day, including how much food Dot was eating and whether she'd been playing with her toys. I know I can trust Denise to take care of Dot next time we go out of town, and I know Dot won't be as shy next time either. We are very thankful for Denise's help!
