About who needs care: Post stroke with left weakness and expressive aphasia. He enjoys woodworking and gardening. Morning assistance with brief change, dressing and grooming in bed. Transfer to wheelchair for a few hours then transfer back to bed. Then late evening he stays in bed with assistance needed for brief changes and prompting for night time medication. About the care needs: He gets along with everyone. He is a max assist squat pivot transfer from bed to wheelchair, or mod assist with a slide board. We are considering getting a stand lift. Services needed include: dressing and grooming daily, transfers bed to/from wheelchair, bathing 2 days a week, serving a pre made lunch, and medication promoting at night.

Nanny Needed For My Children .looking for someone to help as a personal assistant for a few hours 1 weekday (after 5 pm) and for a few hours on Saturday or Sunday each week. We ideally want someone who has a background and enjoys working with this population. We also would like someone who would start as a light role (e. g. doing light housework). If a rapport is built, there is room to increase hours and levels of support (e. g. assisting with transporting to hair appointments, grocery shopping, and possibly into supporting walking/exercising). She occasionally needs help with applying small pads and tape to a few toes that are painful. Her son Eric can take care of all her other needs. About the care needs: Imogene's ideal caregiver would be friendly but not overly talkative.
