Seeking care for my mother in her 60s. Services needed: companionship, bathing / dressing, feeding, meal preparation, medication prompting, help staying physically active, mobility assistance, transportation, light housekeeping. Looking for someone with 5+ years of experience caring for seniors. Specialized care needs: CPR/first aid training, nursing experience, support for memory care. Female caregiver preferred. A little more about my mother: she can be energetic, anxious, lethargic, pleasant, reserved. My mother is 66 years old, Spanish speaking ONLY. Mom has vascular dementia/ history of cancer. She has very good days and some bad days. Mom needs assistance with feeding, walking, transfers, diapers etc. Please contact for more details or possible interview I'm looking for someone who is patient, strong, bilingual. I am looking for a bilingual individual (SPANISH) you don't have to know how to read or write in Spanish but it's important that you speak and understand. 5 or more years of experience with dementia and elder care. Responsible, caring, honest and knows what she is doing with her patient. This position is private and paid by the state of Connecticut. There is room for extra hours and extra pay from out of pocket from family. We do bonuses on holidays and vacation without pay (union is working on getting those benefits to you ) I am very flexible with work hours and try my best to accommodate everyone's needs. My mother developed dementia dude to cancer rumors in her brain. She has real good days and some bad she has forgotten a lot but sometimes surprises us with her memory. Mom has recently eneteres another stage of her dementia she non verbal and has began to eat puréed food. Please contact me for more details and possible interview.
