At The Country Playhouse Club, we recognize the growing physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of an increasingly independent school-age child. Our year-round before and after school enrichment program offers enhanced learning opportunities in a safe, engaging and supportive environment where students are encouraged to develop life-long friendships and have fun exploring the world around them through hands-on experiences. We want our children to grow up with the knowledge that they can make a positive difference in their life, as well as in the lives of others around them. To do this, we need to work as a team. This means that our program will work with the parents in projecting the most positive influence possible. With more than 18 years experience working in the Education field, with children of all ages, our owner Tara Stivers knows the importance of quality care. Tara has been a Before and After school teacher, a Preschool teacher, a 1st and 2nd grade teacher, and currently holds the position as the Owner and Director of The Country Playhouse Learning Center and The Country Playhouse Club. With her extensive experience, training, and Bachelor s degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education, Tara has been able to operate a successful and respectable business in Enumclaw for the past 8 years. Her centers have maintained an impeccable record with the Department of Early Learning, and have gained a well respected reputation within the community as evidenced by being awarded the Best Preschool/Daycare on the Plateau for 3 years in a row. Tara and her staff appreciate and encourage community support, and the importance of supporting small businesses and community services. As part of our passion for creating a place for children to thrive, she and her staff encourage the children to look beyond their own needs by extending a helping hand to others in the community. Just some of the ways our students and staff have been able to give back to their community have been by reaching out to families in need by supplying much needed holiday meals, delivering over 300 food items to the local food bank, raising funds for local charities, and partnering with the Enumclaw library throughout the year to reinforce the importance of literacy and to help build of a love of reading. We offer a wide variety of care plans to fit just about any family budget and need. These include: Full time care, both before and after school Before OR after school care Part time or part day care Emergency care Drop-In care Holiday and School Closures care Summer Camp Program

The Country Playhouse Learning Center

1515 Chinook Ave. Enumclaw, WA

At The Country Playhouse Learning Center, we want each child to be the very best he/she can be. We strive to create a caring, loving, and nurturing environment, one that promotes both individual learning as well as group learning. Children learn in so many different ways, and we feel that it is necessary for them to have the proper tools that will lead to new experiences, and help to enhance their abilities and strengths even further. Learning requires active thinking, and hands on activities to let them learn first hand about the world around them. A child that is absorbed in the positive components of life has little time to focus on the negatives. We want our children to grow up with the knowledge that they can make a positive difference in their life, as well as in the lives of others around them. It is our goal as caregivers and educators to help each child achieve his/her own level of excellence. To do this, we need to work as a team. This means that our center will work with you, the parents, in projecting the most positive influence possible. We all want the best for our children; they are our future, and we must never lose sight of that fact. As a community of caregivers and parents, we need to work together to make that future as bright as it possibly can be; for each and every child.
