Learning has always been an adventure for me and I love sharing my enthusiasm with others. I have worked with students of all ages (Preschool through adults). My passion is working with individuals who have learning and/or behavioral challenges. My experience includes working with students who have Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyspraxia, Visual Processing Disorders, ADD/ADHD, ODD, Autism and other cognitive/ behavioral issues that make learning in a traditional classroom more of a challenge. I am familiar with the Common Core requirements and have extensive experience with 504s/IEPs. I have 6+ years of experience using Barton Reading. I have completed the Introductory Training for the Wilson Reading System and have experience using Wilson's Just Words curriculum. I am familiar with Spalding Reading & Spelling and have used Handwriting Without Tears. I also know how to do Singapore Math! Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card. Lisa has helped me learn and study math for my upcoming accuplacer exam. I have been out of school for a while and each tutoring session gets better! Lisa gives homework and provides feedback on how I can accomplish this problems better. With being out of school for a long time, Lisa gives me the tools needed to learn all math concepts to the best of my ability. She has been a great help!
