Learn to Read: Phonics-based Literacy Tutor Worked in the public schools system k-12th for the past 20 years. Many students do not have a good foundation of basic reading or math. I have seen firsthand how oftentimes the classroom environment can distract students from learning. I am able to assist students of all ages to learn to read well and/or learn basic math skills up through 1st year Algebra. Free 30 minute demo. It is systematic and have taught people to read better based on this old school solid method. First I assess student 's baseline. The basic outline of the method: 1)sounds of letters 2) word patterns made by letters ; rules that govern ( 'i' before 'e') Some feel that they are unteachable. It is those that struggle that I especially enjoy working with.
