About Sierra

I'm a K-8 Elementary and K-12 Special Education certified educator with a passion for helping students build confidence and succeed academically. I have over seven years of experience working with students from preschool through sixth grade and have provided extensive tutoring and instruction in reading, writing, math, and other core academic subjects. I also have experience teaching summer school remediation programs, where I supported students in strengthening foundational skills, closing learning gaps, and preparing for success in the upcoming school year. Additionally, I have experience providing Early Childhood Autism Specialized Habilitation and supporting students with assistive technologies such as AAC devices, visual schedules, first-then boards, and token systems to promote communication, independence, and meaningful engagement in learning.
