About Vanessa

I have been working with children both foster care, and in a school setting for over 10 years. I love teaching, I am very patient, and have had great success with the students I have worked with. I believe it is important to build a trusting relationship, and even more importantly build a child's confidence in their abilities for a strong foundation that leads to a bright future. I also have a background in healthcare, a CPR certification, and I do have references. I am currently working with a third-grade student who is visually impaired for over six months now. Given that she has special needs and it took some time to get all required services put into place for her, we had some catching up to do this year. She has grown both academically and her confidence as a student, and she has made exceptional progress. I am happy to answer any questions. I look forward to having the opportunity to work with your child and support them as they grow in their confidence and academic ability.
