About Cherie

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With three years of experience, I specialize in supporting elementary students across subjects including English, Science, History, and Study Skills. I believe every student has unique potential and can achieve their goals with personalized support. To ensure success, I actively listen and observe how a student interacts with new material to tailor my methods to their specific learning style. When concepts become challenging, I bridge the gap by connecting topics to real-world examples or their personal interests. I prioritize clear communication to build a collaborative, trusting environment with both you and your child. My greatest joy is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks. I look forward to working with your family to help your student thrive and discover the excitement of learning.
