About Emily

I am a certified teacher with several years of experience working with elementary school students in both classroom and small-group settings. Throughout my teaching career, I've focused on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and taking risks. I have experience helping students build strong foundations in reading, writing, and math, while also adapting lessons to meet each child's individual learning style. I understand that every student learns differently, so I use a variety of strategies to keep learning approachable and effective. In addition to academic support, I prioritize building confidence and a positive attitude toward learning. I enjoy helping students not only improve their skills but also feel proud of their progress.
