About Shawanda

Hello! I'm an experienced elementary educator with over 20 years of professional experience working with children in education, coaching, and mentoring roles. I currently teach 5th grade and specialize in helping students build confidence and improve their skills in reading, writing, math, study habits, and homework completion. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each child's individual learning style. I believe learning should be engaging and supportive, helping students develop both academic skills and self-confidence. Whether your child needs extra practice, homework support, test preparation, or enrichment, I create a positive environment where they can succeed. I look forward to partnering with families to help students reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom
