About Kelly

I'm a certified elementary teacher with a Master of Arts in Teaching and six years of experience teaching second grade. This fall, I'll be teaching first grade. My instruction is grounded in the Science of Reading, using evidence-based practices to build phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. I have experience working with a wide range of learners and tailor each lesson to meet students' individual needs, helping them build confidence while making meaningful academic growth. Whether your child needs extra support, intervention, or enrichment, I provide engaging, personalized instruction in a positive environment. My goal is to help every student become a confident, successful learner while fostering a love of reading that lasts beyond our tutoring sessions.
