About Sara

Hello! I am a dedicated educator with approximately seven years of teaching experience. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in English and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching with a 4. 0 GPA. I specialize in helping elementary, middle, and high school students strengthen their reading, writing, and English Language Arts skills. For younger learners, I provide individualized instruction in phonics, decoding, reading fluency, spelling, vocabulary, and foundational writing. For older students, I focus on reading comprehension, grammar, essay writing, literary analysis, and critical thinking. My teaching approach emphasizes patience, encouragement, structure, and high expectations. I tailor each lesson to the student's individual needs, helping them build confidence, independence, and lasting academic skills. I look forward to helping your child succeed!
