I'm looking for hands-on care for my father age 93. He needs help getting dressed each morning including putting on compression socks, and then help being served breakfast. His food is already prepared, it just needs heating. Assistance with bathing (he takes a shower) twice a week is also needed. In addition I would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping and weekly laundry. I need someone to commit to 8-10 a.m. Mon-Fri and 8-9 a.m. on the weekends. I only want one person so that his contact is limited thus reducing the possibility of contracting COVID-19. I prefer a caregiver who is a non-smoker and is CPR / first-aid trained. He has short-term memory loss, hearing loss and is incontinent, but otherwise is relatively healthy. He's very intelligent and talkative and LOVES sports. He served in the Navy for 35 years.
