Hello! I am a retired nurse of 20+ years. I took care of my husbands grandmother for 3+ years. I am currently taking care of an 86-year-old who I've been caring for, for 3 years. I do basic adls, meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping, as well as making sure medications are given as ordered. They're also days we just sit and talk and visit just to keep company. My goal is to make sure that all asking needs are met, and met with a smile and maybe some humor. It is also a goal to make this individual feel respected and loved. I do this job because I love the companionship. This is something I am most passionate about. May I mention I love all kinds of animal's.

I am happy to write a recommendation for Wendy. I am her daughter and have seen first hand her exceptional caregiving abilities. When I was young, our grandmother came to live with us primarily due to her poor health. My mom has a true passion to help those around her and provided excellent care for my grandmother for the last 5 years of her life. My mother made sure to provide a safe living environment for grandma, scheduled doctor appointments, stayed on top of her medication needs, and assisted with personal hygiene daily. I truly believe that mom made grandma'a life more comfortable and enjoyable than it would have been anywhere else. In conclusion, I would absolutely recommend my mom as a caregiver. She is able to provide excellent care both physically and emotionally. She is very eager to help those around her and is someone you can rely on.

I'm a Licensed Practical Nurse with 9 Years of Hospital experience, 5 years with Hospice, and 6 years offering private care. I work privately with clients in their homes, independent living facilities, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. My services include personal care, companionship, medication assistance and teaching, preparation of simple meals, transportation to appointments, errands, and fun outings. I'm also a Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in Swedish Massage, Reiki, and Jin Shin Jyustu which can assist clients in relaxation and pain relief. I individualize care according to my clients needs. I've worked with people who have anxiety, post traumatic stress, sound sensitivity, and food sensitivities. My clients have expressed that I'm honest, kind, gentle, compassionate, and have a calming presence. I love caring for the elderly and treat my clients like family.

I know Danielle because she organized the care, as well as providing care herself, for a mutual friend who needed 24 hour hospice service. This went on for a few weeks and she never faltered. She then supplemented the care for another friend's mother, who was in a nursing home, by doing her laundry, taking her out to lunch and to have her hair done, etc. When the mother became sick she visited daily and kept my friend informed re. her condition. Danielle is honest and trustworthy. She can and will do whatever is necessary for the welfare of the person for whom she is caring. She can manage anyone with respect and sensitivity and her caring is always pure and true. This is very is Danielle.

Part Time Personal Care And Senior Companion

I worked for the same home care agency for 25 years providing home health care and hospice. I recently moved to Florida from New England. I enjoy caring for people to ensure they are able to remain in their homes as opposed to hospitalization or nursing home facility. During my 25 years of experience I have run errands, prepared meals, bathed, changed bandages, provided companionship and family support. I am able to provide several references from my employer and family members of patients.

Becky-jo is the best caregiver I have had by far. She is a joy the moment she walks in the door. Her personality lights up a room. Her kindness is outstanding. My mother was so excited and couldn't wait each any everyday for her to arrive. She also made my mother feel special and loved like she would her own mom. Her work ethics are amazing. I could always count on her to see what had to be taken care of for my mother and she handled it professionally. Her experience in every facet of care-giving came full circle, whether it would be bathing, soaking her feet or even wound care for mom. Even that mom needed enough protein in her diet to help in wound healing. She always made sure to make time to bake muffins for my mom because mom loved the smell coming from the kitchen. Becky-jo's qualities as a caregiver are beyond excellent. I would be happy to speak to anyone who needs a person who is reliable, knowledgeable, friendly, caring, etc...... as she is.
