I am married and have 2 daughters, one of which has already graduated from college and working. My other daughter is 9 years old and very friendly, polite and sociable. My family is American (husband & daughter), but I am from Latin America, and have been here since 2011. My professional career has been as a hair stylist and my passion is cooking. We have lived in four different countries, as well three different states, and have recently relocated to Austin where my husband works professionally and where we plan to stay. I would like to earn a little extra income and love caring for children as well as seniors. I would love to interview with you. My English is not great (my husband is helping me write this), but I am a great communicator. Moreover, exposing your child to a 2nd language would be a great advantage. Please consider me for your position, I would love to help!

We were so happy with Alejandra. She babysat for us on a Saturday date night. Her daughter came with her, which was perfectly fine with us, and acted as a play pal for our only child (3 yrs old) and helped a bit the the language barrier since our Spanish is minimal. When we came home, the house was tidied up much to our surprise, and our son was well rested and in a great mood the next morning. He's now calling them his new friends. She went above and beyond. We'll definitely call her next time we need help!

Fun-Loving, Supportive, And Creative Caregiver!

Hello! My name is Abigail and I am a college student going to school and living in Austin. I have years of experience with children as a nanny, babysitter, camp counselor, educational aide, and big sister to my 3 younger siblings. I love working with children and providing a safe, fun, and emotionally supportive environment. I also have experience with children experiencing mild to severe special needs. Three words I would use to describe my nannying style are creative, attentive, and flexible. Looking forward to making connections with some special families and kiddos!

Abigail watched my son 2x/wk after school last year while he was in first grade. She would pick him up from the bus stop, walk home together and spend approx 3 hours with him until I returned home between 5-5:30pm. Abigail consistently was doing interesting, fun, and engaging activities with our son - making crafts, going to the park, playing soccer or football in the backyard, running errands, baking, going on walks, building Legos and more. She also helped him with homework each week and made sure that was prioritized and completed before they played or did activities. Abigail also encouraged and helped him to clean his room (including making the bed!) if it had been left in a disarray. As a busy parent, you can imagine these efforts were MUCH appreciated. Abigail also provided childcare for our family on various evenings and weekends, caring for both our baby too. I sincerely was touched by the thought and care that went into every hour of babysitting spent in our home.
