Career Nanny

Responds within a few days
I have worked most of my life caring for children, it's my career choice and my passion. I have extensive knowledge and experience as a nanny working with families and children in a variety of settings. I earned my Degree in Early Childhood Education and I'm proud to make a difference. You can expect me to offer a healthy, consistent, loving and safe environment for your child to grow and learn. I like to get children outside to play, walks, trips to the zoo, local museums, playgrounds, Story times, and weekly playgroups. I stay active and young at heart, very outgoing, friendly, love music, dancing, photography, and spending time with family and grandchildren. I stay informed in the Nanny Industry by attending yearly conferences, online podcast and workshops, Nanny Magazines and a member of the International Nanny Association. I have outstanding references. Currently available for Temp Jobs, I recently retired yet would like to stay busy and rooted in the Nanny Industry.

Jodi came to us several months ago to help with childcare during our visit from the UK and we couldn't have been happier. She is truly a baby knowledge powerhouse! She started when our F was just 7months old and he has learned so much from her. She has taught him many skills, helped him learn to crawl, clap and play peekaboo! Jodi is highly attentive and always doing activities, including walks, going to the park, reading and floor play. She is responsible, always early and extremely trustworthy. I felt more than comfortable leaving F in her care. F lit up every time Jodi arrived for the day which just melted my heart. We appreciate all Jodi has done for us and will absolutely be hiring her when we return in the spring.

Babysitter Or Nanny From December To May 2021 In Naples, FL

Responds within a few hours
I am living in Naples until May 2021. I just finished a position for a wonderful family taking care of a very active 3-year-old boy. I enjoy taking care of children of all ages and have nannied for children as young as 3. I finished a long-term position with a lovely family last spring. For the last few years, I was also their house manager as they required less support for the children. I hope to work for another wonderful family where I can not only take care of the children but also help in whatever ways will most benefit the entire family. I am a very active person and I hope to bring that quality to any position I take. I enjoy reading, exercising, being outdoors and spending time with my family and friends.

We hired Mary as a result of the pandemic, to help us care for our 3 year old son from June - November 2020. At such a pivotal point in our family's life, Mary was able to ensure a seamless, smooth transition - immediately making us feel comfortable and at ease knowing that our son, was in safe hands with someone we could trust to not only take care of him, but also help him with critical developmental milestones (learning words, numbers, potty-training, etc). As a nanny, Mary was extremely patient, compassionate, flexible, structured and highly committed to providing the best level of care for our son. She recognizes his individual needs and tailors his day accordingly - whether it's a long walk outside seeking out local construction trucks (his favorite!!) or more time playing with sensory toys - she goes above and beyond to make every day special. Mary is an amazing nanny and was a great addition to our family - we couldn't have asked for a better, more reliable caregiver!

I enjoy engaging children in conversation and imaginary or physical play. Music, drama, reading, indoor creative games and physical play are some of my favorite activities. I am comfortable with all aspects of a child's day: morning routine, evening meals, and bedtime. I am willing to provide overnight care, as needed. Safety is my top concern and I stay current with my CPR certification and stay current on safety/first aid awareness. My cell phone is always on my person for a 911 call if required with an immediate follow up call to the family. Please always leave current contact information with me for that day. I stay active daily and have no problem keeping up with toddlers or teenagers! I will enjoy working for a family whose goals for their children are hands-on activities, community, sports, museums, parks, nature centers and beaches as well as needed after school work such as homework and household tasks.
