Hello! I recently moved to Michigan from the San Francisco Bay Area, so I am looking to explore the town and meet new families here! I have my Masters in Early Childhood Special Education. I have worked with over 60+ families over the years through multiple sites, agencies and word of mouth. I have really enjoyed my time as a nanny and it sparked my interest in getting involved in the Special Education field as well. My focus is on children with Autism, but I really enjoy helping children of all ages and abilities with their developmental milestones. It really is a fun challenge and I love problem solving to help children learn and explore the world at their level. I have worked with infants and newborns up till pre-teens. I love to have fun and be silly and also firm when needed. Several of the families I worked part time and full time for have become family to me so I love positions where I really get to bond with the children and the families!

Danielle has been nanny to our 14 month old daughter for the past 9 months and she is fantastic! We highly recommend her and any family lucky enough to be able to have her should stop their search and book her now - you will be hard pressed to find anyone better (and we are picky about childcare!). She started with us in September 2018 and left in June 2019 as she was unfortunately moving out of the state. If we had the chance we would've kept her on indefinitely. Danielle worked 5 days a week for us, 45 hours per week and was available to stay late for date nights. She only took a single sick day during the entire 9 months and was incredibly reliable. Her responsibilities were primarily to take care of our baby girl, and she went above and beyond. Our baby was 5 months old when they started together and Danielle helped her develop through so many milestones and learn so many skills it was amazing! From establishing a consistent sleep schedule, getting feeding to become routine and easy (from breast milk to formula to mush to solids, and now our daughter is an extremely good eater and not picky at all). She's learned how to roll, crawl, walk, sign, speak, and run - one specific example of something amazing Danielle did was teaching our baby how to safely roll and scoot off the couch at a very young age. All the while, our daughter has developed a strong sense of exploration and curiosity through weekly adventures that Danielle would organize, on top of the regularly scheduled gym class and music class. Danielle is incredibly creative - she is warm, personable, responsible, and fun. She had an endless set of sensory experiences and creative activities that we believe really helped expose our child to new things in a safe and delightful manner. Danielle has also been an amazing role model for our daughter and we can see the influence of her sense of adventure, curiosity, and positive attitude. Her communication is great - very organized updates and great pictures throughout the day. In many ways Danielle taught us how to be good parents, and set our child up for success by knowing the next developmental milestones ahead of time and creating a child-led environment for her to learn. She very much felt like part of the family, and our daughter truly loves her very much. We feel very lucky to have had Danielle as our nanny and recommend her with the highest regard.
