About Sonya

The first day Sonya came over for an interview it was easy to tell that she has a strong connection with children. Her attention and care with our daughter (16 months at the time) had her playing, laughing, and comfortably interacting with her potential nanny almost immediately. At that time we had never had anyone watch our child and were both incredibly apprehensive and in desperate need of help. Her resume and background show years of experience working with children and her love of this field shows in every interaction we’ve had since. Sonya doesn’t simply watch our child, she plans activities, actively engages with her, and makes intentional efforts to incorporate educational activities for her. she gives us great feedback about her daily activities, sends pictures of her playing, and checks in with us often. We are incredibly grateful for choosing Sonya to watch our daughter. She’s now 4.5 years old and has been spending around 2 days a week in Sonya’s care for over 2 years now. Our daughter looks forward to each day she gets to spend with her and talks about her all the time.
