Hi-Five Kids Fitness & Aerobics (Ages 3.5–6) Get your child moving, learning, and having fun with Hi-Five Kids Fitness & Aerobics at the Bernard Weinger JCC! This high-energy class is designed to help young children build a strong foundation of movement, coordination, balance, flexibility, and confidence through age-appropriate fitness activities, obstacle courses, aerobic games, music, and interactive challenges. For boys, this program helps develop the fundamental athletic skills needed to succeed in sports such as basketball, soccer, baseball, football, and more. Through running, jumping, agility drills, and teamwork activities, children gain the confidence and physical literacy needed to enter the sports world. For girls, the class provides an excellent introduction to the movement patterns used in dance, cheerleading, gymnastics, and performing arts. Cheer & Tumbling Skills 360 is a high-energy, beginner-friendly class designed to build confidence, strength, and fearless athletes from the ground up. We turn the basics into an exciting, fast-paced experience while focusing on the three essential elements of cheer: Tumbling Foundations: Learn and master key skills like cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers, and progressions toward handsprings and aerials—all with a focus on proper technique and safe progression. Stunting Basics (Flight School): Discover the fundamentals of stunting, including base, back spot, and flyer roles. Athletes will build trust, teamwork, and body control while learning safe and stable lifts. Jumps & Performance: Develop strong jumps, sharp motions, and confident performance quality so you can stand out with power and precision. Extreme Acro & Tumbling is a fast-paced, high-energy class that blends the strength, flexibility, and balance of acro with the power and precision of tumbling. Designed for athletes ready to be challenged, this class focuses on building control, technique, and dynamic movement. Athletes will work on skills such as backbends, back walkovers, back handsprings, and connected tumbling passes, while also developing acro elements like balances, flexibility, and fluid transitions. Conditioning and flexibility training are key components, helping athletes improve strength, stability, and overall performance quality. With a strong focus on progression and confidence, athletes may also have the opportunity to participate in floor competitions if coaches determine they are ready. Athletes will be introduced to fundamental skills on all apparatus, including floor, beam, bars, and vault. The focus is on building a strong foundation through basic movements such as rolls, jumps, balances, and proper body positions. Gymnasts will also develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and listening skills in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. This level helps prepare athletes for progression into more advanced gymnastics classes. No refunds or credits, make-up classes only! Level 2 All Star Cheer is designed for athletes who are ready to build on foundational skills and progress into more advanced technique, strength, and performance quality. This team focuses on mastering Level 2 tumbling, stunting, jumps, and choreography while emphasizing proper form, confidence, and teamwork. Practices are held Tuesdays from 6:00–7:30 PM and Saturdays from 10:30 AM–12:00 PM. Additional practices may be added throughout the season as needed at no extra cost to ensure athletes are fully prepared for performances and competitions. Throughout the season, athletes will follow a structured progression of skills and drills tailored to Level 2 requirements. This includes refining back walkovers, round-off back handsprings, and developing stronger connections and consistency in tumbling passes. Stunt work will advance to more complex extensions, transitions, and beginner-level release moves, all taught with a strong emphasis on safety and technique. Athletes will also focus on jump technique, flexibility, conditioning, and performance skills such as timing, expression, and confidence on the mat. Additional Fees throughout the year will include $275 (uniforms, practice wear, bows, warm-ups, etc.) $300 competition fees

Whether the goal is to advance in cheer, gymnastics, or overall athletic performance, this class provides the structure and intensity needed to keep improving.
