Enjoy seeing Miami from a different perspective as we head out to sea in search of a variety of species – snappers and groupers, amberjack and kingfish, with sailfish, tuna, and shark are a possibility. At times we’ll anchor and chum, sometimes we’ll drift while live-baiting, using dead bait, or jigging. We are the ONLY party fishing vessel that offers live bait, when available, at an additional charge of $20 per person, one per group. Of course, we cannot guarantee great catching. The fishing on the bay is an exciting chance to reel in Sheepshead, Black Drum, Sandtrout, Whiting, and many others, including SHARK! Bay fishing trips primarily target tasty sand trout and whiting, but customers will also have opportunities to catch red drum and black drum. Your Fort Lauderdale Reef Fishing Charter starts off with a 10-12min cruise out to the inlet, passing through "Millionares Row", where you'll see some of the most extravagant houses and yachts in the world. We'll usually have time to fish a few different spots (wrecks, reefs, different depths & zones). When it's time to come in, we'll return through the inlet where you'll have a chance to take some pictures with the fish. Upon return to the dock the mates bring all the fish to the cleaning table where they will do free fish cleaning and recommend some good restaurants that will cook your fish for you. This is a great trip to go out and try some deep sea fishing, enjoy beautiful views of the coast and have some luck catching some good eating fish. The Wild and Scenic Chetco river estuary in Brookings offers a variety of experiences ranging from frequent Pelican and Kingfisher sitings to neat coves, sloughs and some of the cleanest water on the coast.  The boat basin offers a very easy calm water introduction where you can view the many different commercial fishing boats, Coast Guard vessels and pleasure craft moored up to the docks. Total freshwater paddling distance is about 2.5 miles for the 1.5 to 2 hour tour.

This tour is done on a privately owned wildlife refuge, so what that means for our guests is that there are no other boats. We also do not allow hunting or fishing on our property. The guests will see the Manchac swamp as it is meant to be seen. The animals see the boats as part of their natural habitat, so they are unafraid to stay out in the open for our guests to see.
