Trint's Music Lessons (Guitar, Bass Guitar, Production)

    by Taylor Robinson Music

    Denton, TX

Years of Experience: 9 Location Options: In Studio Genres: Rock, Blues, Jazz Age Groups: Children, Young Adult Instruments Taught: Guitar Lessons,Bass Guitar Lessons,Record Engineer Produce Overview: I started playing guitar when I was 10 but never really got into music until I was about 14. I started to learn bass when I was in a "band" with some friends. Now as you can tell by the way I said "band" in quotations, this group didn't go far. When it all started to fall apart I took more of a solo route and started learning everything I could get my hands on. I took music theory and choir in high school and it's taught me a lot about how to put music together in a way people will want to hear. I then started to learn about sound engineering and rigging through the church I attended at the time. From there I've started to do live sound gigs at small punk shows that not too many people attended and the ones that did attend didn't care much about sound quality but I always made it sound great anyway. After losing interest in that I decided to get more into studio recording and I record projects for friends. Now I want to get more into teaching other people how to better understand music so they can mold their sound into something unique that will catch the ears of anyone who lends an ear. Experience Teaching: I'm always teaching someone something about music.

Years of Experience: 15 Location Options: In Studio Travel Radius: 15 Genres: Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Gospel Age Groups: Children, Young Adult, Adult Instruments Taught: Keyboard and Piano Lessons Overview: Music has always been a big part of my life, ever since I was born. My father had introduced me to all kinds of music, especially jazz. I wanted to start to learn how to play music at the age of 4 but unfortunately, I didn't start until I was 6. At the age, I had no realization that I would be doing that for the rest of my life. However, at my first recital, I got 1st place and that's what made my decision to keep playing. Over the years, I've played various styles of music, ranging from classical and pop music to blues and jazz. I've also done many group settings, whether its a large big band, small groups, duets, or solo piano, which I especially like. A few of these ensembles that I've been in for the past year have really brought me further into the music world. I have graduated from Broward College, with a major in Music Performance. I have played in small group ensembles as well as the Jazz Big Band. The main ensembles are run by the Director of Jazz, Professor Jason Hainsworth. Being in these groups at school, I've found my love for jazz has grown exponentially. I currently do not have a steady group that I play with but on occasion, I will play with somebody on multiple gigs that I have collaborated with either at school, on gigs, and/or on recording projects. I have a few goals in life, one of these goals is to keep attending school for music and to learn more about Jazz and Composition/Arranging. This will be a long road for me but I wish to one day write Jazz Big Band charts and to have my own big band play the songs. I have the support of my family and friends to thank for helping me get through life and to be around when I need them. Formal Education: University of North Texas: Jazz Composition/Arranging (Master of Music) Relative Field of Study in Composition for Media Florida State University: Music Performance-Jazz Studies (Bachelor of Music) Broward College: Music Performance-Jazz Studies (Associate of Arts) Private Education: I was trained classically at the age of 6 and started playing jazz/blues piano at the age of 14. by Taylor Robinson Music

    Denton, TX

Years of Experience: 5 Location Options: In Studio, In Webcam Travel Radius: 0 Genres: Rock, Blues, Classical, Acoustic Age Groups: Children, Young Adult, Adult Instruments Taught: Guitar Lessons Overview: Hi, my name is Liam, and I have been playing guitar for 13 years. I started taking blues guitar lessons in high school before starting a rock / metal band with a few talented friends, and eventually began playing shows at local bars and events. After being introduced to the classical style by my instructor, I also began playing guitar and piano for weddings until I started college. I decided to mix things up a bit and started my college degree as a jazz guitarist at Rhodes College, however when I transferred to UNT 2 years later I decided to return to classical guitar, specifically flamenco, as my primary style. I've since completed my classical training at UNT and am excited to pass on all I've learned through my various styles and experiences to help start new musicians' journeys. While I've played for a lot of interesting events, my favorite experience was still getting to play the music at my mother's wedding 4 years ago. To me, music is all about the ability to connect with and move people whether emotionally, or just move them to dance and that's what I always strive to share. So whether you're just getting into music, or are looking for a new instructor to further your training, I'd be happy to help! -Education- Degree: Bachelors of Music School: University of North Texas Dates: 2017-09
