Ballinger Wing is temporarily closed for necessary infrastructure updates. These galleries are scheduled to reopen this Fall. This day tour gives you the chance to venture north from the Phoenix area to see several historical sites that visitors come from around the world to see. This allows you to experience several very old locations that are so important in the history of Arizona. They have been preserved so visitors can still enjoy them as they have for hundreds of years. Enjoy a tour of the Prescott and surrounding area customized for your group of up to five guests. The tour can be customized from 9 to 11 hours. The itinerary can be tailored to suit your desires of what you would like to see along the route. Typical points of interest could include choices from Old Town Prescott, Whiskey Row, Sharlot Hall Museum, The Smoki Museum, Lynx Lake and more. Once booked, we will discuss the itinerary with you, and you can choose which venues that you would like to include. Admission costs are not included, as many spots are free to visit, and those that have admissions have many choices based on student / veteran / senior status. Route options and local venues can be discussed at booking. Tour starts and ends in the Metro Phoenix area, and it is 90 minutes drive each way to and from Prescott.

This day tour gives you the chance to venture north from the Phoenix area to see several historical sites that visitors come from around the world to see. Our first stop will be at Walnut Canyon National Monument where you will have a chance to learn more about the area in the visitor center and also walk the upper trail that takes you right to many ancient dwellings right on the trail. Then off to the Meteor Crater which is such a unique experience to see and be able to walk right out and stand on the edge. Then we are off to Winslow for lunch & a visit to the famous corner made famous in an Eagles song ("Take It Easy"). While in Winslow we will visit the Historic La Posada Hotel for a great lunch (included up to $20 per person). On our return to Phoenix, we will go thru Sunset Pass & our ponderosa forest.
