Begin your air tour with a one hour flight from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon. Along the way, enjoy the view from the air as you pass over the Tonto National Forest; make a scenic pass through the Red Rock formations of Sedona; and soar past the San Francisco Peaks, Painted Desert and the Navajo Indian Reservation before arriving at the Grand Canyon. On this day trip we will travel to the famous Apache Trail. An old trail, the Apache tribe used in the late 1800's as well as a road built for prospectors and wagons traveling through the area. You as our guest will enjoy the majestic Superstition Mountain range as well as the beautiful Sonoran desert backdrop. We will venture to the old gold mining ghost town of Goldfield, witness breathtaking vistas in the mountain range of the Superstitions and let you take a 90 minute sightseeing steamboat ride on Canyon Lake. We will also make a pitstop at the old wagon stop of Tortilla Flat for possible lunch or gift shop attractions. Lastly we will stop at the Lost Dutchman Museum to polish up your knowledge of the area before we head back into town. Duration of trip is 8 hours from Pickup to Drop-off. NOTE: The museum is CLOSED Mon-Wed from the months of May thru October.

Escape the daytime desert heatwaves with this unique hiking adventure in the Sonoran Desert. We will stop for beautiful views of the city and to observe and discuss the varying plants and animals the Arizona desert! Start times are flexible and typically we start 30-60 minutes before sunrise or sunset. Please be sure to contact your guide Scott Zdunczyk to confirm a starting time. South Mountain contains many trails, allowing us to customize the difficulty for each trip. The typical route is moderately difficult but there are less strenuous options available. You will see some of the most beautiful places in the world all in one day! We will meet at 8am and head to the gorgeous red rocks of Sedona. Not only is Sedona absolutely stunning, it is thought to have healing powers from the magnetic vortices located there. We will visit the site of an actual vortex, Chapel of the Holy Cross overlooking Bell Rock and Cathedral Rock. Then we' will travel on one of the most scenic highways in America, 89A. We will stop a a Native American Crafts Market run by local Native Americans, and then we will head out to view one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon! We will arrive at the Grand Canyon in the afternoon to take in this magnificent and breathtaking sight! We will *not* see the sunset at the Grand Canyon, but on our drive back to Phoenix you will enjoy the best sunset in the world, an Arizona sunset!
