Enjoy a tour of the Flagstaff and surrounding area customized for your group of up to five guests. This unique tour can be customized to visit the sites in Flagstaff that you want to see, and also adjusted from 9 to 11 hours in length. We know that all guests are different and have different tastes. Typical points of interest could include choices from Downtown Flagstaff, Route 66, the Museum of Natural History, Sunset Crater National Monument, Lowell Observatory, Riordan Mansion and more. Once booked, we will discuss the itinerary with you, and you can choose which venues that you would like to include. As this is a custom tour, admission costs are not included, as we will not know which specific venues will be included, and also many spots are free to visit, and those that have admissions have many choices based on student / veteran / senior status. Begin your air tour with a one hour flight from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon. Along the way, enjoy the view from the air as you pass over the Tonto National Forest; make a scenic pass through the Red Rock formations of Sedona; and soar past the San Francisco Peaks, Painted Desert and the Navajo Indian Reservation before arriving at the Grand Canyon. Continuing right over the Rim, you begin the scenic overflight of the Grand Canyon’s widest and deepest point, on a route that only a few are allowed to fly. This 20-30 minute overflight of one of nature’s most spectacular sights will give you a view of the Grand Canyon seen by only a handful of people as you fly 1,000 feet above the south rim and about equal to the north rim. After completing the overflight of the Grand Canyon, enjoy a short, one hour flight back to Phoenix by a more direct route.

On this day trip we will travel to the famous Apache Trail. An old trail, the Apache tribe used in the late 1800's as well as a road built for prospectors and wagons traveling through the area. You as our guest will enjoy the majestic Superstition Mountain range as well as the beautiful Sonoran desert backdrop. We will venture to the old gold mining ghost town of Goldfield, witness breathtaking vistas in the mountain range of the Superstitions and let you take a 90 minute sightseeing steamboat ride on Canyon Lake. We will also make a pitstop at the old wagon stop of Tortilla Flat for possible lunch or gift shop attractions. Lastly we will stop at the Lost Dutchman Museum to polish up your knowledge of the area before we head back into town. Duration of trip is 8 hours from Pickup to Drop-off. NOTE: The museum is CLOSED Mon-Wed from the months of May thru October.

The Monument Valley tour includes Sedona, Meteor Crater, and Monument Valley. It begins with a scenic, narrated, flight through the Red Rock formations of Sedona. It then takes in the San Francisco Peaks and the Painted Desert. The tour continues and may make a brief stop in Page, Arizona, located along the shores of Lake Powell (depending on aircraft). The flight will continue on to Monument Valley where you will experience the monuments from the air. The flight will land at Gouldings Field, just minutes from Monument Valley, and embark on a guided, 90 minute 4X4 ground tour into the Navajo Tribal Park. Your Navajo guide will provide insights into the culture and beauty of this sacred area. Finally, return to Gouldings Lodge for a delicious Navajo Taco lunch before returning to the airport for the scenic return flight.

On this experience you will get to witness the two Native American Monuments of Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot. These monuments are rich in history of the Sinagua peoples of the verde valley. Then we will take you to the quaint copper mining town of Jerome, AZ. This town has been preserved in 1920's theme and is an Arizona favorite! Lastly we will board the sightseeing train, The Verde Canyon Railroad for a 3.5 hour journey through scenic Verde Canyon. You can witness this beautiful canyon from the luxury of FIRST CLASS.
