Intermediate Art Classes

The Giggling Pig is a place where everyone is welcome to join in the fun and be themselves! So in celebration of MLK and our mission to inspire unique expression we’re painting these colorful "Hands of Hope". Students will practice their blending techniques as they depict the colors of the rainbow. Then, after they've learned all about ROYGBIV, they’ll experiment with mixing all those colors together to get an array of skin tones. While exploring color, we see that though there is a whole spectrum of different outcomes, they all contain parts of the same rainbow. Perfect class for children ages 7-9 years old. 90-min class We will use a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic & tempera paints, oil pastels, mixed media, and clay for our intermediate classes throughout the school-year!
