Formal Education: UTEP: I completed the required drumset standards set by the Music Dept. of the University of Texas at El Paso under the tutelage of Demetrius Williams. Private Education: I have studied jazz and afro-cuban drumset music with Ricky Maliki and Roberto Serrano respectively. Performing Experience: Percussion Ensemble- UTEPMarching Miners-UTEPSymphonic Band-UTEPSolo Percussive Performance as required by the Music Dept.-UTEP I have also performed in numerous jazz, afro-cuban,and rock gigs with other musicians from the El Paso area.
