Location Options: In Studio, In Home, In Webcam Travel Radius: any Genres: Classical Age Groups: Children, Young Adult, Adult Instruments Taught: Orchestral Lessons Overview: Andrei (bassoon) started his music studies at the age of 10 in the Ryazan State Music School-Lyceum and continued in the St-Petersburg State Conservatory, Russia and Ball State University, Muncie, IN. Mr. Muravev is a winner of the Young All-Russian Competition for Woodwind Instruments in Vladimir and the International Competition for Woodwind Instrument in Tolyatti. He was awarded the First Prizes at the Open All-Russian Woodwind Quintet Competition, Kazan and Indianapolis Matinee Musicale Competition, IN. At Ball State University, Andrei won the Graduate Concerto Competition and performed with the Ball State Symphony Orchestra. Also, he has appeared as a soloist with various orchestras including the Ryazan Chamber Orchestra, Nigniy Novgorod, Ulyanovsk and St-Petersburg State Academic Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestras. Now, Mr Muravev a regular member of Chicago Civic Orchestra.
