When I entered 4th grade, I joined the Miami Children's Chorus and was placed in their advanced chorus by 6th grade. Once I entered middle school, I discovered my passion for songwriting and began to write and perform my own songs. After spending 5 years with the MCC, I left the choir to go to high school at New World School of the Arts, joining the vocal program. It was there that I took my first private lessons, training me in the classical and operatic style. In high school, I joined my first band, Flashbang, which became increasingly popular among high school students in my area, especially after winning the Felix Varela Battle of the Bands in 2011. By my senior year of high school, I was accepted into Berklee College of Music with a $10,000 scholarship upon audition and a $6,000 songwriting scholarship. This still wasn't enough money to send me to Boston, so I deferred my acceptance for a year and went to FIU for my freshman year, joining on as a radio dj at FIU student radio. in 2013, I transferred up a year's worth of credits to Berklee (24 max), which, upon my enrollment, was only counted as a semester. Though it took extremely hard work and dedication, I completed the degree program in 3 years and graduated on time in 2016, with a Bachelors Degree in Songwriting and a GPA of 3.5. Also in college, I formed a serious band with my best friend and co-writer, Julian Harris, which is called Soulpax. We're currently recording our first, full length album with the help of Grammy Nominated producer, Keith Morrison. Formal Education: New World School of the Arts (2) FIU (2) Berklee College of Music (2) Private Education: 2-4 contemporary voice lessons.
