I am a self-taught player and have many years experience performing in local area bands. In the 80’s and 90’s I was the co-founder and guitarist in a popular local band for approximately ten years playing blues and classic rock. I have several years experience in recording both live on location and in the studio. I also have experience in running live sound for local bands. I am currently working with a Praise band in a large local church. My early influences were The Ventures, The Beatles, Travis Womack, Don Rich, SRV, and the late night tunes on Wolf Man Jack‘s radio program out of Del Rio Texas. I retired from my engineering job a couple of years ago and I am now teaching beginning guitar to students of all ages. I teach with a focus on getting you to play, enjoy playing, and learning your favorite songs. My lessons are TAB based so you will become familiar with that process as well. I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge with others. Formal Education: High School Grad + 2yrs college Performing Experience: Performed in several local rock/blues bands in the DFW and Waco/Temple area. Experience Teaching: 12 years
