I myself took lessons when I started, and took it further in my career to teaching myself other types of theory, scales, playing types, techniques, etc. Soon thereafter, guitar has become my life. I played in praise band all throughout high school, for both the churches I went to. I have also been in a few bands. I have also run my in home studio since I was 16, and after a short hiatus after high school, I was back again. I also took music theory, both at high school and college level. My goal is to teach things I have learned, and pass it on to more guitarists starting out like me, confused and and cant quite seem to get it. I also happen to play bass, banjo, and mandolin. I also started in band in Junior High with trumpet, managed to get 2nd chair in the highest band.
