During her sophomore year, Kylee won first prize in Butler County Symphony Orchestra's 2013 Young Artist Competition, where she performed Chaminade's Concertino with the orchestra, and was called to play with the Pittsburgh Philharmonic Orchestra. The summer after her sophomore year, Kylee attend Orford Arts Center where she studied in masterclass with Mathieu Dufour and Denis Bluteau, and worked with Robert Langevin. During her junior year, she was recruited into Mr. Damian Bursill-Hall's flute studio. During the year, she was a winner of Duquesne University's Wind Concerto Competition, the Women's Advisory Scholarship Competition, the Tuesday Musical Club of Pittsburgh Scholarship Competition, became a substitute musician for the Butler Symphony, and was hired as a flute teacher at Accent Music. Kylee has attended the Advanced Chamber Music Seminar, West Virginia University Flute Festival, Youngstown State University Flute Festival, Le Domaine Forget International Music Academy (QC, Montreal), Orford Arts Center (QC, Montreal), and The Consummate Flutist.
