My name is Michael, I am 22 years old, a Double Bass player, and have been playing the bass for 7 years now. I originally started on guitar in elementary school, then violin in middle school then moved to the double bass in high school where I actually taught myself how to play. I competed in region/All-State orchestra, as well as solo competitions all throughout my time in high school. Now a college student, attending Texas Tech university I will only be in San Antonio for the remainder of the year. I have studied under Steve Zeserman Double Bass prof. At UTSA, and now Dr. Morton associate prof. of Double Bass at Tech. My dream career is being a professor of double bass at a college institution and having my own bass studio for private lessons. I am looking forward to teaching lessons and helping young musicians grow!
