I have been playing piano for about 12 years and was mostly self-taught before I came to college. I secured a music scholarship before my senior year at GCSU and won the concerto competition that same year, performing a piano concerto with the wind symphony. Formal Education: BA in Music from Georgia College and State University Private Education: Private piano Lessons for around 6 years, including time with Dr. Mark Laughlin at Georgia College and State University Performing Experience: Performing freelance for 5 years. Pianist for the GCSU jazz band and the GCSU wind symphony for four years.
