Loving And Mature Full-time Nanny, Looking To Give Parents Peace Of Mind

Hello! I am a gentle, fun-loving, and experienced middle-aged woman, looking to continue work in what I love best: caring for precious little ones and their families! Before my daughter was born, I taught preschool for many years, and can sincerely say that I loved my job. I then became a stay-at-home-mom and homeroom mother, and loved every second of that as well! Over the years, I have spent a tremendous amount of time volunteering for numerous projects at my daughters schools, as well as babysat multiple children. I have experience in tutoring, and I conducted a homeschooling program for a full year exceeding the Pennsylvania state requirements. In recent years, I have become a volunteer co-coordinator and youth school teacher at my church. I presently work for a home care company specializing in new-mother aide, newly released surgery patients, and elderly care. I wish to return to solely working with children again because it is honestly what gives my heart the most joy! I have a New Jersey teaching license for Early Childhood Education, as well as all of the legal requirements needed to work with children. This includes proof of a nonexistent child abuse record, criminal background, and FBI record. I am also CPR/First Aid certified, and will continue to remain updated by the state's ever-changing standards. I have a stellar driving record, as well as my own safe and reliable transportation. I am happy to use my vehicle for transporting children and running errands. I also have experience installing and uninstalling the most current baby and toddler car and booster seats. I love animals, and am happy to assist in any way with family pets. I also love to cook, and enjoy preparing family meals and packing lunches. I am happy to complete household tasks such as schedule appointments and clean the home. I am not squeamish at all, and will do anything for a sick child. I have extensively worked with children of all ages and needs. This includes recent infant and special needs experience. I am very tidy, but not at all hesitant to get messy with arts and crafts, or play a sport in the backyard! I feel that children learn by observing and "doing", and I sincerely enjoy assisting them in creative, imaginative, cognitive, physical, and age-appropriate experiences. Setting a good example for children to follow is very important to me. I feel that using profanity towards children and belittling them is inappropriate and unnecessary.
