I am an energetic and passionate Biomedical Engineering Graduate who moved to Denver from Philadelphia about a year ago. I have Pharma R&D experience and technical sales experience, but I have always wanted to become a teacher. I love working with kids! I have taught various dance classes while studying in college and worked as a children's day camp instructor throughout one summer. My strong suits are STEM, but I am well versed in English subjects and most grade school topics. I got engaged last December, and my fiancé is a business owner so I have spent the last few months helping him, but now I am looking to do more of what I love! I would love to share experiences and lessons I've learned from my various paths, and help in any way I can!

I started tutoring when I was a sophomore in high school after loving Chemistry I. Now I am a Lafayette College graduate, majoring in Chemical Engineering. I have harnessed a large amount of academic material regarding the math and sciences departments, but that is only a thin layer of what it takes to be an effective tutor. I am very methodical with the student s understanding of notes, organization of practice problems, and formulation of study guides for tests or exams. I like to work with the student on outlining main ideas, familiarizing with content relevance, revisiting and relating recurrent themes. I really like to teach a problem solving methodology that involves a sequence of specific steps that can be applied to other and future classes the student will take as they progress. Hello, my name is Danielle and I am a recent graduate from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Statistics. As the eldest child, I have had experience tutoring my younger siblings since I was in middle school and participate in an unpaid tutoring club program in college. I also was on the other side and received tutoring during high school and intermittently throughout college.
