Warm and experienced carer
| Warm, friendly and joyful carer of young children with over 6 years’ experience: au pair, support worker. Certificate pediatric first aider. Montessori Practical Life course. Passionate about working with children. As a childcare worker, I believe childhood happens only one time in the life, so we should protect it and make it special. Currently work in nursery with different ages group and looking for additional work during my free hours.
Aggie has been looking after our 5 year old son with special needs every week for 1.5 years. She became his best friend and forged a very special relationship. She is flexible, does her own research on how to best support him, which toys might interest him and follows his lead even if it means bracing the cold weather or spending loooong afternoons in our house.. My son very much has his own agenda but with a lot of patience and creativity she found a way into his world. Aga takes her job very seriously and has been a lifeline on so many occasions."

Friendly and responsible child care
| While I don't have any formal experience working in child care, I am eager to learn and grow in this field. I have always enjoyed spending time with children and find it incredibly rewarding to engage with them and help them learn and grow. I am a patient, kind, and nurturing person with a strong work ethic and a willingness to take on new challenges. I understand the importance of providing a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children to thrive in, and I am committed to doing everything I can to ensure that children in my care feel happy, comfortable, and supported. I am a quick learner and am eager to receive any training or guidance needed to excel in this role. I believe that my positive attitude, compassion, and enthusiasm make me a great fit for a child care role, and I am excited to contribute to the well-being of the children in my care.
The only Kat your Dog will Absolutely love is Kat! Kat has watched our mini Dachshund Olly for the last two days so we could tour around Edinburgh. Kat sent us photos of Olly enjoying his day, her messages and Ollys joy at seeing her each day made us feel we left our baby in the right caring and loving hands. She is a fantastic communicator and will love your pet likely just like you would. If I lived here she would be my go to pet sitter. If she is available to watch your pet I would grab her. Kat also did a beautiful drawing of Olly that had my wife in tears."

Caring and committed
| I am reliable, committed and responsible and enjoy looking after children. I have babysat for family, friends and neighbours from a young age and have always wanted to work in the care sector. Just after finishing school I went abroad to do au pairing in ####.#### involved looking after three children ages 3,5 and 7. The role involved assisting them in their daily activities and teaching them English which Expanded my knowledge and communication skills. I have also completed an HNC in social services and an SVQ 3 in children and young people. Through this I was able to carry out a placement at Braidburn special needs school. This involved supporting children with various additional needs. This allowed me to apply the knowledge taught from lectures and tutorials when working with these children to support them to the best of my ability. In addition to this, I have also worked at leaps and bounds after school club supporting primary school children. I have had a lot of experience working with various different children and feel I am well suited to the role of child care.
Lori worked for our family taking care of three children aged 3,6 and 7, from July until November 2016. Her role was live-in. We found Lori to be very helpful, caring, reliable and sweet with the children - always with a smile on her face. She was able to hold the attention of each child, creating interesting games for them, even though there was a language barrier it didnt get in the way. We would gladly have kept Lori working with us, but she had to leave to complete her studies. We recommend her for a position working with children. I am happy to be contacted for any further information. Lucrezia Lucifero"
