Experienced animal lover available to care for your pets!
| I have been around animals all of my life, i grew up with three cats and lived near a farm. I am experienced in all aspects of care including dog walking, cleaning, feeding and can administer medication. I worked in as a pharmacy technician and so I am confident in measuring doses.
Coming in from the US we were a little nervous about hiring a sitter for a few evenings. After many emails back and forth and upon meeting Jessica we knew our children would be in good hands. She was fabulous. It was hard because we were visiting the city and our children weren't in their own home, but Jessica was great at keeping them entertained and on track."

Experienced pet caretaker ready to pamper your pets!
| :Hi there! I'm Annika, and I'm 21 years old. Currently, I'm pursuing my master's degree at the University of Edinburgh, where I'm immersed in the world of academia. However, my heart truly belongs to animals. I've had a deep-seated love for them since as long as I can remember, and I'm incredibly grateful for the two adorable cats that share my life, Nova and Koda.

Over the years, I've accumulated more than seven years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats, particularly when their human companions are away. Being entrusted with the well-being of these furry friends has been an absolute joy and privilege for me.
During the time your pet is in my care, I will provide a safe place for them. Although I cannot host animals in my apartment, I am more than willing to come to you! During home visits I can stay as long as you need/recommend. I am available Mondays, Fridays, and the weekends all day! Thursdays I am before 2. For walks, I will take them around your neighborhood and usually walk around for at least 30 minutes. If your pet enjoys certain activities I will make sure to do that with them.
Annika - was great - even though it was short notice she looked after our son Leo who has ADHD and Autism- he was fast asleep when we came back - many thanks again! I would recommend her to anyone else looking for babysitter or child minder in the Edinburgh area"

Animal lover handle with care
| As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find a responsible and caring person to look after our furry family members. I have a lovable family dog who has brought so much joy into my life and has taught me the value of unconditional love and responsibility. I am a dependable and trustworthy individual who has a genuine love for animals. I have experience taking care of pets for family, friends, and neighbors, and I always treat them with the same care and attention that I give my own pets. I am also comfortable administering medication if necessary, as I understand the importance of following specific pet care instructions. I believe that pets are an important part of the family and deserve the best care possible. I am committed to providing exceptional pet care services and ensuring that all pets in my care feel loved, safe, and happy.
The only Kat your Dog will Absolutely love is Kat! Kat has watched our mini Dachshund Olly for the last two days so we could tour around Edinburgh. Kat sent us photos of Olly enjoying his day, her messages and Ollys joy at seeing her each day made us feel we left our baby in the right caring and loving hands. She is a fantastic communicator and will love your pet likely just like you would. If I lived here she would be my go to pet sitter. If she is available to watch your pet I would grab her. Kat also did a beautiful drawing of Olly that had my wife in tears."

Kind and caring dog and cat lover
| Growing up on a farm with dogs, cats, chickens and various other pets, I have always loved caring for animals. I have looked after labradors in particular, all my life, and recently spent a year training and looking after a puppy and an elderly labrador. Sadly I am unable to have my own pet in Edinburgh, which is why I have registered as a pet carer. I have recently moved to Edinburgh and am currently job hunting, so I have plenty of time on my hands. I love all animals, and would be delighted to help you look after your pet.
I had a wonderful experience with Rosanna. She took care of my two rabbits for 9 days while I was away visiting family and she was extremely kind, professional, and caring. This was my first time using a pet sitter outside of my family and friends so I was quite anxious at first but she gave me updates throughout my trip and made me feel completely at ease. I highly recommend her and would hire her again in a heart beat."

Calm & Happy Animal Lover, fully insured business
| In 2013 I began running my own online book shop and worked from home. This business has grown to include pet care as well. I love to go for walks and even more so with a dog in tow. I had my own JRT, an 8 year old rescue dog, who was heaps of fun and very energetic. Missing my dog, I joined a dog-sharing site in 2016. This was hugely successful and I made a natural progression to taking on pet care jobs here at Care.com. Since then I have been paired up with dogs, cats and a pair of giant rabbits! I am available to exercise your pets, take care of feeding, daycare, over night stays and holidays. I am happy to look after your pet in your own home or my own where I have access to an enclosed garden and am close to parks and walks up Calton Hill or Holyrood Park. I'm very happy to play fetch & tug of war with those who enjoy this and will respect all guidelines/training required. I have a Bus Pass so am able to travel with animals on the bus to get to different walks if this is required. I can Whatsapp, Skype or text daily updates so you can see your pet each day. I look forward to meeting you and your pet/s. Rates £10 for day care £10 for over night care £15 for a day & night References on request.
Cara was brilliant. She took excellent care of our rabbit while we were away. She is friendly and reliable and accommodated last minute changes with ease. She made sure that our pet was eating and behaving normally and looked after his environment well. She also kept us regularly updated, sending photos and info twice a day. I felt confident with her in charge and wouldn't hesitate to ask for her help again."
