Hello, My name is Jess, I’m 26 years old from Western Australia. I am a qualified primary school teacher and have spent 2.5 years teaching in rural Western Australia. I left Australia in April 2023 and spent 8 months travelling before setting up camp in Edinburgh where I have worked in a pub and also as a nanny! I am now moving closer to Glasgow and am wanting to get back into full time child care! I worked for 8 years as a babysitter for a child care agency and also worked privately as a babysitter and nanny for 3 years. I also have experience as a tutor and have volunteered as a football coach for a u6 team. I also spent 3 years as a support worker for two teenagers with autism and other special needs so have some knowledge in this field. Since arriving in Scotland I have nannied for 2 families with children aged 2months - 5 years. I love being outdoors and am very hands on! In my free time I enjoy playing football and touch rugby, going to the gym, walking/hiking and spending time with friends. I also adore animals, particularly dogs and have a beautiful family dog back in Australia! I am ideally after full time work but open to lesser hours if the fit is right.
