I have a home daycare for infants and toddlers, aged birth to 24 months, in Jeffersonville, IN. I offer both full and part-time with hours from 6:30 a.m. to 6;00 pm. Hours could be adjusted according to a family's need. I currently have 2 full-time openings. One for newborn and one for 6-18 months I have had 39 years experience as a Speech Therapist in the public schools with over 20 years experience with children with special needs. I have raised two children of my own and have several nieces and nephews that I have watched over the years. I have always loved babies and young children. I retired in July, 2013, from teaching and opened Guardian Angel Daycare on August 5, 2013. We have had 45 infants and toddlers over the last 12 years. I will provide your child with a loving home environment while you are away. I raised my children reading to them everyday, which helped with language development. I have a good selection of young children's books that they can handle and explore. We will also do lots of singing and movement, with nursery rhymes and finger play. Simple sign language will be used to help little ones communicate before they have words. Our full finished basement has plenty of room for running and playing and a separate area for quiet play. We also have a full bath and a separate bedroom for sleeping and changing diapers. References are available upon request.

I am a 52 year old Christian woman who has been in the day care business for 20 Years. I have been the director of large facilities as well as small facilities. I have dealt with all types of children, I have been trained in dealing with difficult children, sick children etc..... I have home child care location that I actually pay rent for and open and close it just like a business. I do not live there. However it is a home away from home for the children, where my parents feel secure that their child will be loved as if they where our own. The only workers are myself and my cousin, so it is a very family oriented place. I take all ages from 6 weeks to 9 years old. I also accept all child care funding through the government.

We are an in home daycare that strives to have a fun, educational, nurturing environment, using various activities based on age and ability. Our home includes my two children, a daughter who is 18 months and my son who is 3, our dog Ronnie a white lab and my husband. We are so excited to start this venture together and meet some new smiling faces. In these uncertain times you can have piece of mind knowing your children are safe and cared for in the comfort of our home. We will always have a small class size and stick to our extensive cleaning procedures, pandemic or not we take cleanliness seriously. We have a daily schedule that varies based on needs and age but always include, free play, circle time and books, a daily craft, structured and sensory play, and much more. We will spend as much time as possible out side in our fenced in back yard and back deck. We have placement for full and half days, as well as full and part time care. The various schedules include lunch, snacks, nap, sunscreen when needed and baby wipes. We also will help with potty training when needed. All ages accepted from 6wks-4yrs. Since we will always have a smaller size group we will be able to have more flexibility on schedules and activities. creating a more unique experience for both child and parent. I have had CPR and first aid training as well as past certification in safe food handling and sanitation. I was working toward my CDA (child development associate) before the pandemic and plan to continue my education in the field. I worked in a child care facility for the past three years and have babysat and cared for children for over ten years. You can have piece of mind knowing that your child's safety and growing minds are our top priority. Please feel free to reach out with any inquiries or for more information.

After I had my son and went back to work I quickly realized that I didn't like having my son in a big daycare. So, I put him with my bosses wife at their home. I loved it. Until I realized that I missed him so much that I needed a way to work from home. So, whats when I decided to open my State Licensed Childcare Home. This has allowed me to stay at home with him. Then 10 years later my daughter came along......So,you guessed it.... I'm still here. What started with a way to make money and work at home now it has given me an opportunity to help other families. Just a little info about choosing a State Certified In home Childcare Home. The State requires us to be CPR/ First aid yearly. My records as well as my husbands are checked by two different agencies yearly. I attend continuing education classes yearly. Just to name a few of the requirements. I would love to meet with you and your family!

Drop-in daycare near you in Jeffersonville, IN can be a flexible and convenient solution for busy parents who need child care on an as-needed basis. This kind of drop-in service can help to reduce stress associated with arranging more traditional, longer-term child care options.

Typically, drop-in daycares cater to children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years old, but daycares will vary depending on their facilities and requirements. When reaching out to drop-in daycares in Jeffersonville, IN, be sure to mention the age of your child or children and confirm they accept children in that range.
