We are a married couple who have been married 6 years. We each raised two biological children, and Pam raised 4 stepchildren and Nick raised 2 stepchildren. We have 11 grandchildren. Pam had a daycare center in the early 1990s in Columbia, SC and taught Sunday School since she was a teenager. WE LOVE CHILDREN. We offer nutritious food and run our program up to ABC standards. The best family oriented childcare available. We are located near Trident Technical College and Boeing/airport/air force base and Northwoods Mall in Midland Park Terrace Subdivision. Attending our childcare program will be like visiting the grandparents for your children. We offer a combination of closely supervised outside play, learning materials to play with, reading stories to the children, nutritious meals and snacks, and individualized care based on each child's special needs. Your child will never be unsupervised. Pam is a certified nursing assistant and a retired real estate broker. Nick is a retired maintenance man after 20 years in the Navy. Pam recently completed Pediatric/Infant CPR and First Aid with the Red Cross. Nick and Pam completed a 16-hour program with DSS for Foster Parents. Pam recently completed a 29 hour DSS Childcare Program, an additional 3 hour nutrition course, and Nick just completed 10 hours of training. We actually have some flexibility with our hours so if you have a question, just ask. I could not get it to go earlier than 8 am but I realize many people go to work earlier than that.

I am a certified educator taking some time off from educating to stay home with my 2 daughters (3 and 9 months). I have an undergraduate degree in elementary education and my Master's degree in educational leadership. I have 5 years experience teaching grades K-2. I have organized and cared for groups of children as large as 30, on and off school grounds. Throughout the last 3 years being home with my kiddos I have been babysitting and nannying for families. These children have ranged in age from newborn-4 years old. We have been able to enjoy fun days at the park, the children's museum, aquarium and much more! I have been working with children in some capacity for 10 years, have my own reliable transportation, clean driving record, a home in a very safe neighborhood, have previously completed a background check to work for county schools, and love children. I have dedicated my life and profession to children and only have their best interest at heart. I would be willing to complete an updated background check and a refresher CPR course if so desired. :) If you are looking for part-time care (especially on James Island) please contact me at jillysey3@yahoo.com Thanks! Jill :)
