Stay at home mom looking to provide childcare in my home, located on Route 2 in New Sharon. This is a convenient location if commuting to Farmington, Augusta, Waterville, or Skowhegan. I am a certified elementary and special education teacher. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and advanced degrees in elementary and special education. I previously worked as an Infant Educator at a NEAYC accredited daycare and taught Kindergarten in public school. I plan many activities for the children including arts and crafts, outdoor activities and 'field trips'. Use of developmentally appropriate activities will, depending on your child's age, help prepare your child for school or reinforce what is taught in school. I have lots of space for indoor/outdoor play, quiet time, social activities, etc. I provide transportation to Mallett Elementary School, and others as needed. Also bus transportation is available to Cape Cod Elementary School. Hours can vary, to meet your scheduling needs (work schedules that include weekend, evening, and overnight can be accommodated) Rates for a full week are $100, and include meals and snacks (infants would need to provide supplies and meals). Part-time rates can be discussed. I look forward to hearing from you!
