Each child will have a voice that is heard and responded to with respect each day. Human interaction is paramount in the learning process and I typically only use media as an accompaniment to a lesson or for interactive play. I will encourage each child's ability to play independently, as well as work well with others. Educationally speaking, the schoolhouse focuses on gross motor skills, fine motor skills, cognitive and language development, along with self-help, and social and emotional well being. I wish to meet each child where they are in their development, and provide the environment, tools and encouragement needed for their growth. It is my hope that the schoolhouse is an extension of the home. I encourage parental input and always have an open door policy. Please help me learn who your child is. Help me know their like and dislikes, or any special needs they may have. I would be happy to oblige.
