Starting an in home daycare has been a dream of mine since 2008. I started out in the childcare field the summer of 2007, not knowing years later this would be my life. I worked in two different daycare centers May 2007- April 2009. Starting late March of 2009, I took on a side nanny job a few nights a week for 1 child. In April of 2009 I became a full time nanny with a family of 3 kids. August of 2012 I changed families, and gained experience with special needs kids.I teach Sunday School at the church I attend for ages 5-9 and babysit on the side for many different families. Kids are my pride and joy! "Once Upon a Dream" is a Christian based atmosphere. Each day the children will be involved in bible stories, Christian music, prayer, and taught basic Christian manners. I am not one for "kids go play all day." Children at this age are so easy to shape and mold and I like to take advantage of that and use time wisely. Daily we will be doing age appropriate "fine and large motor skills", as well as basic ASL. Daily adventures, crafts, meals, snacks, nap time and some "free play" will also be part of the routine. I do not claim to be a professional but I do try different methods to see what works best for each child. Your child is unique and one of a kind, and its my job to take what I know, and work it best with your childs needs and wants. Hours of business are as followed: Monday-Friday 6am-6pm. If you child needs to be picked up after 6pm a 10$ per hour fee will be applied. (times will be rounded to the nearest hour) I am closed nights and weekends unless otherwise previously arranged. In the event that your child will no longer be attending "Once Upon A Dream" please give at least a 2 week notice. In the event I have to release your child for any giving reason I will give a two weeks notice. This time frame can be subject to change, by either party due to extenuating circumstances. Closed on the following holidays: New Years Eve New Years Day Memorial Day July 4th Labor Day Day before Thanksgiving Thanksgiving Christmas Eve Christmas Day Weekly Rates are as Followed: 6 weeks-18 months: $175/week 19-months-3 years old $165/week 4 year- 5 years old $155/week Payment will be made every Monday morning but no later than 6pm Monday evening If payment is received past Monday (6pm) a10$/day fee will be added and after 3 days your child will not be able to return until payment is made in full. Cash, or check only. Client agrees to pay any fee associated with a returned check. After 2 returned checks, client must pay either cas. Payments will still be applied for holidays and any days you take off. Please give at least a 2 week notice if you are taking more than 1 day off. I do not expect to be paid for any days I take off. I will give at least a 3 week notice for any time I am taking off so you can make other child care arrangements. AAP RED BOOK CHILD EXCLUSION FROM DAYCARE: Any child with the a temp over 100.5, lethargy, persistent crying, difficult breathing, diarrhea, vomiting 2 or more times in 24 hours, infectious mouth sores, rash(with fever) pink eye, strep or any other illnesses until 24 hours of being clear. Lice, scabies,eggs clear for 2 weeks. Whooping cough until 5 days of antibiotics, mumps until 9 days, measles until 4 days, Hepatitis until 1 week after onset of illness or jaundice. In the event that I am sick and unable to work, I will notify you ASAP so other agreements can be made. Once again if your child is sick and needs to take a day or more off payments are to still be made. If i have to take a day or more off due to my illness no payment will be required.
